Waste storage
Waste storage is carried out for homogeneous types in compliance with current environmental legislation. Ecodep takes charge of the waste to be sorted and becomes the producer of the fractions obtained which are destined for recovery, Non-recoverable residues are destined for disposal.
Ecodep is authorized to carry out preliminary deposit operations (D15) consisting in the storage of special waste of different types and origins without any recovery intervention on the waste being performed at the storage facility.
Upon reaching the sufficient quantities that justify the composition of a load the special waste subjected to preliminary deposit only is sent for disposal in authorized external plants (landfills).

Placing in reserve
The activity of placing only in the reserve (R13) consists in the deposit of waste of different types anut origins, wined at the subsequent sending to the other recovery phases.

Reconditioning
We are authorized to carry out waste reconditioning operations (D14) with specific reference to waste shredding and grinding operations and volumetric adjustment by pressing and compacting the waste.

Shredding/grinding
Waste shredding is performed on industrial waste that needs to be reduced in volume or to be subjected to separation from the various components in different materials of which they are made (plastic, metal, etc). The waste shredding and grinding plant is also used for the recovery of solid plastic and metal waste (Operations R3 and R4).

Volumetric adjustment by pressing/compacting
Pressing and compacting is performed on bulky special waste, in order to reduce its bulk. The plant used consists, for hazardous waste, of a 30 Ton discontinuous hydraulic press and, for non-hazardous waste, of a continuous 80 Ton hydraulic press.
