Disposal and transport of hazardous, non-hazardous and bulky special waste

Ecodep is at the service of industries, companies, administrations and individuals who need the bulky waste collection service and the transport of dangerous goods to the correct authorized disposal and/or recovery facility in Sicily, Italy and abroad.

Transportation of special and bulky waste

Transport of special and/or bulky waste is performed by highly specialized personnel, strictly complying with the operating standards imposed by current legislation on waste.

Ecodep's goal is to provide a hight quality service that safeguards the environment, operators and companies.

Transportation of hazardous waste according to ADR regulations

The transport of hazardous waste must take place in compliance with the relevant European regulations with particular reference to the ADR transport regulations.

ADR transport is the definition for the carriage of dangerous goods. This is regulated by the Accord européen relatif au transport international des marchandises Dangereuses par Route (European Agreement relating to international transport of dangerous goods by road).

The regulatory provisions indicated in this regulation concern:
_ cargo packing;
_ cargo securing;
_ the marking of the type of goods transported.

Failure to comply with the law can lead to heavy economic repercussions for companies, as well as representing a serious risk for the environment and people.

Vehicles used for ADR transport must be provided with the relative authorization and must have all the necessary equipment on board. The provisions of the law vary on the basis of the type of waste to be transported and on the vehicle used.

All drivers must be in possession of an ADR licence, which certifies the authorization to transport dangerous goods.

Waste brokerage

Ecodep also carries out the brokerage of hazardous and non-hazardous waste with open approvals on national and foreign plants, dealing with any problem regarding the correct management of waste.

The service is provided for the types of waste that we cannot process directly in our Modica plant, and allows the waste to be disposed of and recovered from certified partner companies in Italy or abroad.

Ecodep staff takes care of transporting the waste on behalf of the customer and carrying out the paperwork necessary to ensure that loading and unloading operations are carried out towards the correct disposal destination in full compliance with all current regulations.
